5 Injured in Crash at Rancho Del Oro and Mesa Drives

Vehicle Runs Red Light in Oceanside Accident

Oceanside, CA (July 13, 2020) – Five people were injured in a crash in Oceanside. The accident occurred on the afternoon of July 13 at Rancho Del Oro and Mesa drives. 

A vehicle ran a red light at the intersection and broadsided another car that had the right of way. The first vehicle rolled over, landing on its roof. Two people were trapped inside one car and one person was pinned inside the other. Emergency crews rescued the trapped victim. 

In total, five people were injured in the crash. One victim was an 11-year-old, who was airlifted to a hospital. Four others were hospitalized with moderate to major injuries.
