Driver Arrested for DUI in Colfax Accident
Colfax, CA (September 14, 2019) – A car crashed down an embankment in Colfax, injuring five people. The accident occurred on the afternoon of September 14 at Yankee Jims and Smuthers Ravine roads.
A vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man went 300 feet down an embankment and rolled several times. Five people – the driver, a man in his late teens and three 16-year-old girls – were ejected from the vehicle. None were wearing seat belts.
They suffered moderate to major injuries. The driver was arrested for DUI.
