5 Injured in Crash on Pacific Coast Highway Near Deer Creek Road
Car Hits Pole, Goes Off Cliff in Malibu Accident
Malibu, CA (September 25, 2019) – A solo-vehicle crash in Malibu caused a vehicle to land onto a beach in Malibu. The accident occurred on the afternoon of September 25 on Pacific Coast Highway.
A car was heading north on Pacific Coast Highway, near Deer Creek Road, when it crashed into a power pole and drove off a cliff near Neptune’s Net restaurant. The car went down a cliff, overturned and came to rest on the beach.
The driver, a 69-year-old man from Santa Monica, suffered moderate injuries. The passengers – a 64-year-old from Santa Barbara, two 36-year-olds from Canada and a 2-year-old from Canada – all suffered minor injuries. All were taken to local hospitals. The roads were closed for several hours as crews repaired fallen power lines.
