Police Chase Leads to San Diego Accident

San Diego, CA (November 5, 2019) – Seven people were injured after a police chase caused a car crash in San Diego. The accident occurred on the evening of November 5 at Pitta and Market streets.

Police were chasing after a suspect when the suspect collided with a minivan at the intersection. Two adults and three children inside the minivan were injured. Two people inside the suspect’s vehicle were also injured. All were taken to local hospitals.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
