Abdallah Abushawish Shot, Killed While at Work


2 Arrested in Fatal Nuevo Shooting

Nuevo, CA (August 19, 2020) – A man was shot and killed while at work. The fatal incident occurred on the morning of August 19 in Nuevo.

Abdallah Abushawish, 61, of San Jacinto, was found in front of a business in the 29600 block of Nuevo Road. The man, who worked at the business, suffered several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

The two men who shot Abushawish were later found in Perris. Police arrested Isaiah Lugo, 23, of Moreno Valley, and Charles Trevino, 24, of Perris. Both are in jail on $1 million bail.
