Bean Hit by 2 Vehicles in Fatal Venice Accident

Venice, CA (February 7, 2020) – Actor Orson Bean was killed in a pedestrian crash in Venice. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of February 7 on Venice Boulevard.

Bean, 91, was hit by a vehicle in front of the Pacific Resident Theatre on Venice Boulevard. He fell and was then hit by a second vehicle. Bean died from his injuries. Both crashes were considered accidental.

The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
