Alain Gerard Killed in Head-on Crash on Highway 41 Near Cavin Lane


Pickup Hits Dump Truck in Fatal Coarsegold Accident

Coarsegold, CA (April 27, 2020) – A man was killed in a head-on crash in Coarsegold. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of April 27 on Highway 41.

Alain Gerard, 74, was heading north on Highway 41 in a Nissan pickup when he veered into the adjacent lane and hit a dump truck head-on near. The man died from his injuries. His wife, a passenger, suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Medical issues allegedly caused the crash.
