Ann Catherine Diaz Killed in Crash on 14 Freeway Near Newhall Avenue

Car Overturns in Fatal Santa Clarita Accident

Santa Clarita, CA (June 16, 2020) – A woman was killed in a rollover crash in Santa Clarita. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of June 16 on the 14 Freeway.

Ann Catherine Diaz, 57, of Valencia, was traveling on the northbound 14 Freeway, near the Newhall Avenue. She was driving a Toyota erratically when she hit a GMC. The Toyota then lost control and overturned. Diaz was trapped inside the wreckage. She was rescued by firefighters, but she died at the accident scene.
