Audi Hits Scooter, Several Parked Cars in Fatal North Hollywood Accident

North Hollywood, CA (June 6, 2019) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in North Hollywood. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 6 on Vineland Avenue and Vanowen Street.

An Audi convertible was speeding when it hit a man riding a motorized scooter at the intersection. The rider, identified as 20-year-old Anthony E. Chay of Sun Valley, died at the accident scene. The Audi then hit several parked cars, including a Toyota SUV, which landed on its side.

The female driver of the Audi, 24-year-old Jessica Martinez of North Hollywood, tried to flee the accident scene. She was later arrested and hospitalized with minor injuries.
