2 Vehicles Collide Head-on in Fatal Mendota Accident

Mendota, CA (February 15, 2021) – A man was killed in a head-on crash in Mendota. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of February 15 on Highway 180.

Aristeo Castro, 73, was traveling in a Honda Civic on Highway 180, near Sonoma Avenue, when he collided head-on with a Ford truck. He died at the accident scene. The truck experienced mechanical failure, which caused it to crash.
