Autumn Frank, Unborn Baby Killed in Crash at Marks and Holland Avenues

Kenneth Carter Arrested for Causing Fatal Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (August 2, 2020) – A pregnant woman and her unborn baby were killed in a hit and run crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of August 2 at Marks and Holland avenues.

A pregnant woman, identified as 19-year-old Autumn Frank of Fresno, was crossing the intersection with family members when she was hit by a speeding car. The woman, who was seven months pregnant, was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. Her unborn baby died as well. 

The driver, identified as Kenneth Carter, 32, fled the accident scene. He later turned himself in to police and told them he thought he hit an animal. He was arrested for felony hit and run, vehicular manslaughter and driving with a suspended license.
