4-Vehicle Accident in Orinda Causes Minor Injuries
Orinda, CA (December 13, 2018) – A four-vehicle crash in Orinda has led to minor injuries. The accident occurred don the morning of December 13 in the Caldecott Tunnel on Highway 24.
Four vehicles collided inside the tunnel in the westbound lanes, blocking the entire far right bore of the tunnel. One vehicle caught fire. Traffic was backed up for an hour.
A baby and adult were hospitalized. They were in separate vehicles. Speed was allegedly a factor in the accident.
