Davit Davtyan Arrested for Manslaughter in Fatal Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (August 17, 2020) – A man was killed in a hit and run crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 17 on Foothill Boulevard.

An 83-year-old man was sitting in a parked car when he was hit by a speeding driver. Davit Davtyan was driving on Foothill Boulevard when he slammed into the parked car near Pinewood Avenue. He then fled the scene on foot.

The victim, Benito So, Jr., died at the accident scene. Davtyan later turned himself in. He was arrested and charged with gross vehicular manslaughter.
