Bicyclist Injured in Crash at Effie Street and Sussex Way


Teen Arrested for DUI, Hit and Run in Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (May 13, 2020) – A bicyclist was injured in a DUI crash in Fresno. The accident occurred on the morning of May 13 at Effie Street and Sussex Way.

A teen driver in a Chevy Tahoe was trying to evade police who suspected DUI. The driver went around the corner at the intersection and hit a parked car and bicyclist. The driver then tried to turn into an apartment complex, but crashed into the wall.

A bicyclist was injured in the crash. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police arrested the driver on DUI and hit and run charges.
