Homeless Man Suffers Serious Injuries in Los Angeles Hit and Run Accident

Los Angeles, CA (October 25, 2019) – A bicyclist was severely injured in a head-on crash in Los Angeles. The accident occurred on the evening of October 25 on Berkeley Avenue.

The crash happened in the 3000 block of Berkeley Avenue. Surveillance video shows a 57-year-old homeless man on a bicycle stopping in the street when he when he sees oncoming headlights. A vehicle hit the man head-on. 

The car never slowed down. It fled the accident scene. The man suffered serious injuries and is expected to survive. The driver is now wanted for felony hit and run.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model red Mini Cooper with a white roof. It likely has extensive damage to the front and windshield. A $25,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
