Man Hit by Truck in Fatal Ventura Accident

Ventura, CA (July 17, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed when he was hit by a truck in Ventura. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of July 17 on Highway 101.

The bicyclist, a 67-year-old man from Oxnard, was riding on Highway 101 near the State Beaches exit. He was in the slow lane of the freeway when he was hit by an Isuzu truck. 

The man was ejected from his bicycle. He died at the accident scene. The driver of the truck, a 26-year-old Oxnard man, remained at the crash scene.
