Boy Injured in Crash at East Garvey and Lexington Avenues


12-Year-Old Critically Injured by Hit and Run Driver in El Monte Accident

El Monte, CA (January 18, 2020) – A boy was injured in a hit and run crash in El Monte. The accident occurred on the evening of January 18 at East Garvey and Lexington avenues.

An SUV smashed into a minivan at the intersection. The driver of the SUV then fled on the scene on foot. A 12-year-old boy was ejected from the minivan. He suffered critical injuries. Two adults in the minivan suffered minor injuries.
