Jose Arvizu Malagon Arrested for DUI in Fatal Arvin Accident

Arvin, CA (August 1, 2020) – A 2-year-old boy was killed in a DUI crash in Arvin. The fatal accident occurred on August 1at Sunset Boulevard and South Edison Road.

A man was getting in his SUV. As he pulled forward in a driveway, he ran over the child. The boy suffered major head injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver, 31-year-old Jose Arvizu Malagon, was under the influence and arrested for DUI.
