Vehicle Hits Guardrail in Fatal San Jose Accident

San Jose, CA (June 6, 2019) – A boy was ejected from a vehicle and killed in a crash in San Jose. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 6 on Monterey Road.

A Toyota Camry was headed north on Monterey Road at Palm Avenue when it veered into the southbound lanes and hit a guardrail. The Camry spun out and the child was ejected from the rear passenger seat. The boy died at the accident scene. The car then hit another guardrail.

The driver fled the accident scene, heading north in the southbound lanes. Police found the driver and a passenger a mile away.
