Branden Finley Killed in Crash on 7th Street

Man Hit by Stolen Delivery Truck in Fatal Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (January 16, 2020) – A man was killed in a bicycle crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 16 on 7th Street.

A man stole a delivery truck in the 900 block of Wilshire Boulevard. He was speeding and driving recklessly on 7th Street when he hit a man riding a bicycle. The bicyclist, identified as Branden Finley, 46, landed on the hood of the delivery truck. He then fell off, but the truck kept going. Finley died in the crash.

The suspect then hit two other vehicles before fleeing on foot. The Los Angeles Police Department has issued a $50,000 reward for information on the suspect. He is described as wearing black pants, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds.
