Cathe Lawson Killed in Crash at Highway 32 and Yosemite Drive

Chico, CA (June 24, 2019) – A woman was killed in a crash in Chico. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of June 24 at Highway 32 and Yosemite Drive.

Cathe Lawson, 61, from Chico, was driving a Subaru when she collided with a GMC pickup truck driven by Robert Maxam, 68, of Los Angeles, at the intersection.

Lawson pulled out directly into the path of the pickup. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.
