Santa Clarita, CA (December 9, 2019) – A child was injured when they were hit by a car in Santa Clarita. The accident occurred on the morning of December 9 on Newhall Ranch Road.

The accident happened in the 23000 block of Newhall Ranch Road, near Bridgeport Elementary School. A vehicle was turning onto Newhall Ranch Road when it hit a child. Witnesses assisted the injured child. The child suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained at the accident scene.
