Millville, CA (July 28, 2019) – A 9-year-old was killed and three others were injured in a rollover crash in Millville. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of July 28 on Whitmore Road.

CHP says the 9-year-old was killed after the car she was riding in went off the road and rolled several times before coming to a rest on its wheels.

Officers say the incident happened at around 10:07 a.m. Sunday morning when the driver of a Ford Excursion was driving westbound on Whitmore Road east of Old 44 Drive.

The driver of the Ford Excursion was speeding on Whitmore Road when it went to pass a vehicle. After passing the vehicle, then Ford then lost control and went onto the shoulder. It went through a wire fence and landed in a pasture. It then rolled over several times and landed on its wheels. 

A 9-year-old child inside the Ford Excursion was killed in the crash. The driver and a passenger suffered major injuries, while another passenger suffered minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
