Car Crashes Into Canal in Fatal Bakersfield Accident

Bakersfield, CA (June 2, 2020) – Two women were killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Bakersfield. The fatal accident occurred just after midnight on June 2 on East Belle Terrace.

Christina Salcedo, 22, was heading east on East Belle Terrace. She was traveling at a high rate of speed and could not slow down in time when she arrived at a curve. The car crashed into a dry canal. Salcedo and her passenger, Valentina Melinda Roque, 24, both died in the crash.
