Wrong-Way Accident in Fresno Causes Major Injuries, Fatality

Fresno, CA (December 21, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured in a wrong-way crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of December 21 on Highway 180.

CHP received multiple calls about a man driving in the wrong direction on Highway 180. They then received a call about a head-on crash on Highway 180, near Peach Avenue.

The wrong-way driver, identified as Christopher Her, 33, had crashed a Toyota Tundra. The Tundra flipped over, trapping the male driver inside. Firefighters removed the driver. He was hospitalized with major injuries. Her also suffered major injuries, but he did not survive.
