Chue Kue Killed in Crash on Highway 70 Near Chandler Road

2 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Quincy Accident

Quincy, CA (October 14, 2020) – A man was killed in a crash in Quincy. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of October 14 on Highway 70. 

A Toyota Yaris driven by Tou Kue, 27, was on northbound Highway 70, near Chandler Road, when the vehicle drifted onto the shoulder. Kue overcorrected and crossed over the center lane in front of a Buick Lacrosse driven by Laurice Reed, 30, of Marysville.

The Buick rear-ended the Toyota. A passenger in the Toyota – Chue Kue, 36, from Oroville – was killed in the crash. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
