Victim Hit by Commercial Vehicle in Fatal Redlands Accident

Redlands, CA (November 17, 2020) – A construction worker was killed in a crash in Redlands. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of November 17 at Garden Street and Franklin Avenue.

A construction worker was working on a road pavement project for the city. standing near a commercial vehicle that was carrying gravel at the jobsite, located at the intersection. The driver of the truck did not see the worker and backed into him. 

The victim, a 41-year-old man from San Bernardino, died at the accident scene. The accident is under investigation by District Attorney’s Office as well as Cal/OSHA.
