Courtney Loney, Emma Loney Killed in Crash on State Route 36

Motorhome Hits Tree in Fatal Mineral Accident

Mineral, CA (May 5, 2020) – Two people were killed and one was injured in a motorhome crash in Mineral. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 5 on State Route 36.

A motorhome was heading west on State Route 36 when it went off the road and hit a tree. The driver, Courtney Loney, 38, was trapped inside the motorhome. She died at the accident scene. Two children were inside the vehicle asleep at the time of the crash.

Emma Loney, 10, was ejected from the motorhome. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. Mason Rose, 12, was partially ejected from the vehicle. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He underwent surgery and is expected to survive.
