Dairy Worker Killed During Robbery on South Ingomar Avenue

Hector DeLaCruz Arrested in Fatal Gustine Shooting

Gustine, CA (April 20, 2020) – A dairy worker was killed in a robbery at a dairy farm in Gustine. The fatal shooting occurred on the morning of April 20 on South Ingomar Avenue.

The homicide occurred at a dairy in the 10000 block of South Ingomar Avenue. A dairy worker heard yelling from inside a barn. The employee entered the barn and found a worker dead.

Detectives followed leads to a home on Southport Way. They served a search warrant and arrested Hector DeLaCruz, 30. The suspect had robbed another dairy in the area just five days earlier.  

It is believed that the two cases are connected. Detectives continue to investigate the most recent robbery.
