Angels Camp, CA (September 29, 2019) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Angels Camp. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of September 29 on Highway 4.

Dan Tzur, 60, of Menlo Park, was driving a Ford Mustang and pulling out from a private driveway onto Highway 4, near Stockton Road. He made an unsafe turn and hit a Chevrolet Camaro, driven by Matthew Steele, 42, of Hayward. The front of the Camaro hit the driver’s side of the Mustang. The Mustang spun out of control off highway, while the Camaro stopped in the westbound lane.

Tzur died at the accident scene. Steele suffered major injuries. His passenger, Kristina Steele, 40, of Hayward, suffered moderate injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital.
