Daniel Hawkins, Jacob Ivascu, Drake Ruiz Killed, Joshua Hawkins, Joshua Ivascu, Sergio Campusano Injured in Crash at Temescal Canyon Road and Trilogy Parkway

Fatal Temescal Valley Accident Deemed Intentional; Anurag Chandra Arrested for Murder

Temescal Valley, CA (January 19, 2020) – Three teenage boys were killed and three others were injured when a car hit their vehicle. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of January 19 at Temescal Canyon Road and Trilogy Parkway.

Six teenage boys were inside a Toyota Prius when they were rammed by an Infiniti. The Prius then crashed into a tree. 

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove three boys from the car. One boy died at the accident scene. Two others later died. The three victims were identified as Daniel Hawkins, Jacob Ivascu and Drake Ruiz. Three other boys were injured. They were identified as Joshua Hawkins, Joshua Ivascu and Sergio Campusano.

Anurag Chandra, 42, was identified the driver of the Infiniti. He was arrested and booked on three murder charges. The crash was deemed an intentional act. However, the relationship between Chandra and the victims is unclear.
