Daniel Pooler, Cory Fiscus Injured in Head-on Crash on Los Osos Valley Road
3 Vehicles Involved in San Luis Obispo Accident
San Luis Obispo, CA (August 3, 2019) – Two people were injured in a head-on crash in San Luis Obispo. The accident occurred on the evening of August 3 on Los Osos Valley Road.
Daniel Pooler, 20, of Lompoc, was driving a Toyota Sienna and heading east on Los Osos Valley Road when he drove into the westbound lane. Marcus Tribelhorn, 49, of Los Osos, was driving a BMW in the westbound lane but was able to swerve out of the way. The back end of his BMW took the brunt of the damage.
Cory Fiscus, 19, of Los Osos, was behind the BMW and did not see the on-coming car until it was too late. His Toyota 4Runner collided with the Toyota Sienna near West Foothill Boulevard.
Pooler had to be rescued from his vehicle by firefighters. He suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He will face DUI charges upon his release. Fiscus was ejected from his vehicle and was hospitalized with major injuries.
