Beloved Dog Dies in Torrance Accident
Torrance, CA (October 7, 2019) – A woman was injured in a hit and run crash in Torrance. The accident occurred on the morning of October 7 on Vermont Avenue.
Diane Castillo was walking her two dogs and crossing Vermont Avenue when a vehicle came speeding in her direction. She fell to the ground as the vehicle sped away. Castillo was treated for fractured ribs. She also suffered bruises and other injuries.
Her dog Daisy died in the crash. Her other dog, Cleo, survived.
The suspect vehicle has not yet been found. Castillo believes it was a white pickup truck.
