Dimitri Washington, 2 Others Killed in Crash on Interstate 680 Near North Main Street


Car Crashes Into Tree in Fatal Walnut Creek Accident

Walnut Creek, CA (August 25, 2020) – Three people were killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Walnut Creek. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of August 25 on Interstate 680.

A Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling on northbound Interstate 680, near North Main Street, when it lost control. The car crashed into a tree and caught fire. Two men and a woman were killed in the crash. The driver was an 18-year-old woman from Fairfield. One of the passengers was Dimitri Washington, 47, from Oakland. The other passenger was not identified.
