Thousand Oaks, CA (July 17, 2019) – A driver was injured after slamming into a Chipotle in Thousand Oaks. The accident occurred on the morning of July 17 on Broadbeck Drive.

An SUV collided into a Chipotle restaurant, located at 935 Broadbeck Drive in Newbury Park. The vehicle smashed through a window and ran into the pickup area. It missed an employee by just two feet. The crash happened before the restaurant opened.

Teams came out to assess the damage. The accident left a huge hole in the side of the building near the entrance.

PG&E Says It Knew Its Lines Could Spark Fires

PG&E Corp acknowledged in July 2019 that it has known for many years that its power lines could fail, sparking wildfires in the process. The acknowledgment came in a federal court filing which had been mandated by U.S. district judge William Alsup, who had ordered PG&E to respond to a Wall Street Journal article on a “paragraph-by-paragraph basis.”
