Pomona, CA (December 9, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian crash in Pomona. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of December 9 on Temple Avenue.

Edward Albano, 65, of Pasadena, was hit by a car on Temple Avenue, near the 57 Freeway. He was allegedly hit as he crossed the street in a marked crosswalk. Paramedics found Albano’s body lying in the road. He died at the accident scene. It is unknown if he had the right of way at the time of the crash.

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
