Tree Falls on Jeep in Fatal Bass Lake Accident

Bass Lake, CA (October 27, 2019) – A couple was killed when a tree fell on their vehicle in Bass Lake. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of October 27 on Beasore Road.

Edward Poulson, 62, and Marie Poulson, 59, from Yosemite Lakes Park, were out for a drive when a tree fell on their Jeep Rubicon. The Jeep then crashed down a steep embankment.

The accident scene was not discovered until the following evening, when a Forest Service ranger noticed car fragments on the road. Both Edward and Marie Poulson were found dead at the accident scene.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of Edward and Marie Poulson.
