Elderly Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Kurtz Street


Victim Darts in Front of Car in Fatal San Diego Accident

San Diego, CA (June 29, 2019) – An elderly man was killed in a pedestrian crash in San Diego. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of June 29 on Kurtz Street.

The 79-year-old pedestrian was standing on a sidewalk in the 2700 block of Kurtz Street when he darted in front of a Toyota Prius. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver of the Toyota, a 59-year-old woman, remained at the accident scene.
