Employees Injured in Assault at Mobil Gas Station


Andrew Bergfalk Arrested in Morro Bay Incident

Morro Bay, CA (July 12, 2020) – A man was arrested for assault after injuring two gas station employees. The incident occurred on the afternoon of July 12 at Mobil gas station, located at 911 Morro Bay Boulevard in Morro Bay.

Andrew Bergfalk, 21, of San Diego, entered the store while intoxicated. He harassed the store clerk about her relationship and then walked around the counter and grabbed the employee’s phone. A male employee intervened and a verbal altercation began. Bergfalk then physically assaulted both employees.

Bergfalk and both employees were injured in the altercation. Bergfalk was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail and charged with grand theft, battery and disorderly conduct.
