Eric Lynn Ollis Killed in Crash on Crows Landing Road

Trucks Collide Head-on in Fatal Crows Landing Accident 

Crows Landing, CA (August 8, 2020) – A man was killed in a head-on crash in Crows Landing. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of August 8 on Crows Landing Road.

Gilroy resident Eric Lynn Ollis, 62, was driving a GMC pickup truck on Crows Landing Road, near Ehrlich Road. He was hauling a trailer when he swerved into the opposite lane. He collided head-on with a Volvo semi truck hauling a trailer containing 30,000 pounds of lettuce.

The semi truck went off the road and landed in a corn field. The driver, Baljit Singh Mann, 39, of Modesto, was not injured in the crash. Ollis was ejected from his GMC. He died at the accident scene.
