Man Trapped Under Tractor in Fatal Delano Accident

Delano, CA (February 4, 2020) – A farm worker was killed in a workplace accident in Delano. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of February 4 in an orchard near Avenue 8 and Road 156.

A man was fixing a tractor that had broken down when the tractor rolled onto him. Deputies arrived at a grape vineyard and found a man trapped under the tractor. Emergency crews performed CPR on the man, but he died at the accident scene.
