Felipe Sandoval, Steve Pruett Injured in Crash on Ingomar Grade


Sandoval Arrested for DUI in Los Banos Accident

Los Banos, CA (July 8, 2019) – A man was arrested for DUI after causing a head-on crash in Los Banos. The accident occurred on the afternoon of July 8 on Ingomar Grade.

Felipe Sandoval, 24, of Los Banos, was traveling south in a Honda on Ingomar Grade, near Cottonwood Drive. He made an unsafe turn and crossed the double yellow line, causing a head-on crash with a Toyota driven by Delhi resident Steve Pruett, 60.

Pruett was trapped in the Toyota, but was rescued by emergency crews. He suffered major injuries. Sandoval suffered moderate injuries and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Both were airlifted to local hospitals.
