Lexus Driver Flees Scene of Fatal Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (June 16, 2019) – One person was killed and five others were injured in a crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 16 at Haskell Avenue and Parthenia Street.

A female driver carrying four passengers in a Lexus ran a red light at the intersection. The Lexus collided with a Nissan, killing the driver – Francisco Rivas, 48. A passenger suffered serious injuries.

The driver of the Lexus fled the scene on foot, leaving behind several injured passengers. Five people were injured in total. All were taken to a local hospital. One is in critical condition. Speed was a factor in the crash.
