Garrett Taylor Killed in Crash on U.S. 101 Near Perkins Street

Dylan Pullins Arrested in Fatal Ukiah Accident

Ukiah, CA (August 22, 2020) – A man was killed in a DUI crash in Ukiah. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 22 on U.S. 101. 

Dylan Pullins was driving a Dodge RAM 3500 pickup truck on southbound U.S. 101. As he approached Perkins Street, he made a sharp turn as he was speeding. He lost control and hit a tree. The passenger, Garrett Taylor, was trapped inside the Dodge, which then caught fire. Good Samaritans tried to rescue Taylor, but he died at the accident scene.

Pullins suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Upon release, he was arrested and charged with felony DUI, gross vehicular manslaughter and false impersonation. He is currently booked in the Mendocino County Jail.
