Victim Loses Control of Vehicle in Fatal Sonoma Accident

Sonoma, CA (August 19, 2019) – A man was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Sonoma. The fatal accident occurred just after midnight on August 19 on Napa Road.

Gerick Raju, 50, was driving Nissan Rogue in the 1200 block of Napa Road when he lost control. He hit a mailbox and a plastic recycling bin. The impact caused his vehicle to land in a drainage ditch. Raju died at the accident scene.
