Woman Dies in Fatal Hit and Run Accident in San Diego

San Diego, CA (July 19, 2020) – A woman was killed in a hit and run crash in San Diego. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of July 19 on Ashford Street.

Goma Pokharel, 67, was walking in the 4100 block of Ashford Street when she was hit by a truck. Emergency crews arrived, but the woman died at the accident scene.

The truck fled the crash site. It is described as a black or gray Dodge Ram truck with dually tires and overhead cab lights. It was allegedly purchased that same day. Police are still looking for the suspect.
