Alamo, CA (March 18, 2020) – A man was killed while cutting trees at a location in Alamo. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of March 18 on Escondido Court.

Gregorio Galvez Avalos, 25, from Bay Point, was cutting trees when he touched live power cords. Avalos was electrocuted. Firefighters tried to revive him, but he later died. The Division of Occupational Safety and Health of California is investigating the accident.
