Worker Dies in Fatal Inglewood Construction Accident

Inglewood, CA (June 5, 2020) – A worker died at an Inglewood construction site. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 5 at SoFi Stadium.

An iron worker fell from the roof structure of the stadium. The worker fell 50-60 feet down. Emergency crews arrived, but the worker died at the accident scene. The worker has not yet been identified. The site’s general contractor, Turner-AECOM Hunt, has halted all construction activity at the site for the time being. It’s unclear when work will resume.
