Ivan Joseph Kreft Killed in Crash on Pepper Drive

Pamela Gilmore Arrested for DUI in Fatal El Cajon Accident 

El Cajon, CA (December 14, 2020) – A man was killed in a DUI crash in El Cajon. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of December 14 on Pepper Drive.

A 32-year-old El Cajon man, identified as Ivan Joseph Kreft, 32, was riding a Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle on Pepper Drive when he collided with a Kia Sportage, driven by Pamela Gilmore, 59, of Santee. The motorcycle rider was ejected. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. 

Gilmore suffered minor injuries. She was determined to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol. She was arrested for felony DUI causing injury and gross vehicular manslaughter. Bail is set at $100,000.
