Car Hits Tree in Fatal Clovis Accident


Clovis, CA (February 7, 2020) – Two high school students were killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Clovis. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of February 7 at Armstrong and Bullard avenues.

Two Clovis Unified High School students, Jack Schwass, 17, and Thomas Brown, 16, were driving down Armstrong Avenue when the driver lost control of the car. The car flipped and hit a tree. The vehicle was almost torn in half. Emergency crews tried to pull the boys from the wreckage. Both died from their injuries.
